about us!!
During our 36 years of
marriage, Gregg and I have never been without a dog. While raising three
children, remodeling several homes, living aboard a sailboat and
cruising to eighteen countries, dogs have always been "onboard" in our
lives! Most recently we have discovered the Rare Breed Coton de Tulear, a most
delightful companion breed that has definitely complimented our
lifestyle. It wasn't long after we brought Rocket Man into our home that
we were ready for another, and little Rainy (above, playing Scrabble!)
was the perfect addition to our family! Even now, Gregg will ask,
"When are we getting another one?"
Currently we own two Cotons, along with
Rizzo, a 15 yr-old matriarchal miniature schnauzer. Our home on
Bainbridge Island is a 30-minute ferry ride from Seattle. We are
still active boaters, and it won't be long before our canine crew join
us as we cruise to Alaska! Cotons are wonderful dogs to travel
with; smart, well-behaved, and sociable, they do not shed, nor do they
have that typical "doggie odor," especially important in the wet clime
where we live! With their sweet and eager-to-please temperaments,
our Cotons have traveled and adapted to many different situations.
I am passionate about this breed and both of our
multi-championed Cotons are from exceptional lineage. It is
my hope to produce puppies that maintain the records of health, structure
and temperament of their parents.
